Marlon Woodruffe is a Certified Internal Auditor with over 15 years of experience in both external and internal auditing across the manufacturing, distribution, retail, and petroleum sectors. He has a proven track record over his career of identifying and mitigating risk, streamlining processes and improving operational efficiency.

Marlon is a Chartered Certified Accountant, and a Fellow of the UK based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He holds a Bachelor’s Degree with Double Majors in Management Studies and Accounting from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus. Additionally, he has earned the Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Certification in AntiMoney Laundering and Financial Crimes Prevention from the AMLFC Institute.

Currently, Marlon serves as the Internal Audit Manager at United Independent Petroleum Marketing Company Limited (UNIPET), where he is responsible for enhancing the company’s capability to create, protect, and sustain value by delivering independent, risk-based assurance, advice, and insights to the Board and Management.

Marlon is currently a Governor on the Board of the IIA’s Trinidad and Tobago Chapter, having previously served as Treasurer for two terms. He is also a member of the Finance and Administration Committee of the Trinidad Group of Professional Associations (TTGPA) and has served as a former Council and Executive Member of the TTGPA.
